Watercolors signed Hornecker

Two beautiful original watercolors signed either L. Hornecker or L. J. Hornecker and dated 1883.

The first image shows “Kunst” or Art, carrying a palette and brushes in her hand. The second shows “Wissenschaft” or Science.

May be the work of the alsacian artist Leon Hornecker (1864-1924).

Dimensions: Approx. 11 X 13 inches

Condition: Light spotting in the outer margins. The image of Science has a small tear leading in around 2 inches from the right margin.
