The Dutch expressionist painter was a member of the group De Ploeg in Groningen.

 

Wiegers was part of the group of young artists in the circle around the German expressionist painter Ernst Ludwig Kirchner in Davos during the 1920s, and was deeply influenced by Kirchner.

 

Condition: Light aging of sheet and some light spotting.
