Anonymous, but possibly the work of

William Stauffer

(1879 - La Chaux-de-Fonds 1954)

Venus - Female Nude

This beautiful small painting was acquired at an estate sale where there were also many paintings by Henri-William Stauffer. This work may also be by that artist, but we are uncertain.

Swiss artist Henri-William Stauffer was a painter and professor of art at the Ecole des Beaux-arts (School of Fine Art) in La Chaux de Fonds, Canton of Neuchatel.

We find that this work is also somehow evocative of the Swiss painter Rodolphe Théophile Bosshard

Dimension: 6 X 9.5

Not for sale. We are seeking further information about the identity of the artist.
