Scherenschnitte

A beautiful Swiss Scherenschnitt or Paper Cut. This piece most likely dates to sometime between 1930 and 1950.

It is signed O. Regg in pencil on the lower right. A beautifully intricate piece with a classic folk art motif, couples dancing, menon horseback, hearts, pine trees, and ducks.

The mat has some spotting and needs to be replaced, but the paper cut is in excellent conditin.
