This marvelous image was made as an advertisement for a massive historical reference of over 800 pages that was published in Paris around the 1910.

The publisher had these pages with cutout figures of civilian costumes during the French Revolution - printed as publicity for the book venture.

Condition: Lightly browned with a few small tears at the margins.
