Laurenz Halder
Laurenz Halder (1765-1821) was a mapmaker and engraver from St. Gallen who was also active in Zuerich.
Zurich as it Appeared in 1256
Two late 18th Century or early 19th Century engravings after older originals. Each is signed "Halder Sculpt" in the plate lower right. Handcolored with grey watercolor paint. Both prints bear the collector's mark "Sammlung Kasper Christen" on the reverse.
