These beautiful handcolored 19th century fashion plates come from the magazine Les Modes Parisiennes which was published in Paris from 1843 to 1875.

Most are signed in the plate by Francois-Claudins Compte-Calix (1813-1880) who was the principal illustrator for this magazine.

Each measures around 8.25 X 11 inches

All are lightly crinkled, with some light browing spotting.
